Argentine startup Semtive, a designer of wind turbines for urban and suburban areas, presents a sustainable energy generator for domestic use and humanitarian aid. Thanks to a vertical axis, low speed wind turbine, and a solar panel, this portable device can store up to 2500W of renewable energy; enough to power a refrigerator for 24 hours, or several appliances simultaneously for 8 hours on a single charge. The generator weighs less than 75 kilograms (165 pounds), and produces no smoke or noise. Since it doesn't require any kind of fuel and it is portable enough to fit in a car's trunk, it's a perfect alternative to bring energy to areas affected by natural disasters. These products are made of high quality materials, are easy to assemble and install, and are 95 percent recyclable.
