MEDIA RELEASE AMP SOLAR GROUP INC. ANNOUNCES FINANCIAL CLOSE OF JORDAN SOLAR ONE PROJECT TORONTO- OCTOBER 9, 2014: AMP Solar Group Inc. (AMP) announces the financial close of its Jordan Solar One (JSO) project, a 20 MW solar PV plant located in the Mafraq region of northern Jordan. This project will benefit from a 20-year power purchase agreement with state utility NEPCO. JSO, sponsored by AMP (67%), Evolution Solar (17%), RAI Energy International (13%), and minority shareholders will benefit from 17.5 million in direct IFC lending and 43.5 million of syndicated loans. AMP anticipates the project becoming operational in early 2015. The financial close of JSO encompasses a unique opportunity in an expanding market, as the Jordanian parliament recently passed the Renewable Energy and Efficiency Law calling for an increase in domestic renewable power generation. The country targets an increase in the proportion of energy from renewable sources from 1% in 2007 to 10% by 2020. ### ABOUT AMP SOLAR GROUP INC.
