Sterling And Wilson To Commission Solar Power Plants Of 140 Mw
Solar power plants of 140MW will be soon commissioned across various states in India for the financial year 2014-2015 by Sterling and Wilson. These companies have developed solar PV plant projects for different private sector firms across the country. The cumulative power output from these projects is expected to light up around 200000 homes annually.

Sterling and Wilson has helped in reducing the country's carbon footprint by decreasing its dependency on coal for captive power generation by 70 tons per year and has been ranked as the top solar engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) company in India.

The President, Sterling and Wilson, Bikesh Ogra said, "All the Sterling and Wilson commissioned plants perform at a high efficiency level, increasing the value generated on a yearly basis"

The company will soon start construction of a 50MW solar power project in Egypt.

Further, Sterling & Wilson Powergen is eyeing Indian market for diesel generators and solar sub-station solutions it has developed for photovoltaic projects.
